Commissioning a Handmade Piece
I am excited to work with you to bring your idea to life. Ceramics has a special way of capturing moments in time and preserving memories. There's something very nostalgic and playful about holding a handmade piece that tells a story.
It is a true pleasure to transform your special idea into a unique ceramic piece that can be treasured forever.
The Process
Below is an overview of how my commission process works. At the bottom of this page, you’ll find a form to contact me directly about your idea. You can send me any reference images later on.
Share your idea
The best commissions happen when you provide plenty of inspiration rather than asking for an exact copy of a photograph. Please give me as much creative freedom as possible.
Secure your spot
Once we've agreed on a design, a 50% deposit secures your commission. This covers the time spent designing and painting your piece.
Project commencement
I'll then get to work making and painting on your piece. Please allow 4-6 weeks for this process.
Pre-firing check in
You'll receive a preview of your piece before firing. Minor changes can be made at this stage.
Important bits
I require a 50% deposit before starting work on your piece.
Shipping and import taxes are quoted separately.
Please allow a 6-week turnaround time, starting once deposit is paid. This timeframe does not include shipping time.
